Malicious Links Sent Through Messenger

Most recently we've had a number of accounts register just to send out messages linking to a "video", which when clicked on will attempt to download malware onto your computer. The message text is usually something like:

LoL u just got pwned in that vid [link]

All of these messages have been removed from the forum database, but we don't know if this member will keep coming back and sending out more messages (linking to different URLs, maybe). There's already a similar announcement about this in every forum, but we can't stress enough that you shouldn't click on suspicious links. If you receive a message with a suspicious link in it, please take a screenshot of the message and send it to any admin or mod so that we can deal with it.

If you have already clicked on that link, please be sure to scan your computer for spyware. From what I've gathered from a couple of members who have messaged me about this, it prompts you to download something to view the video. If you didn't download/install anything, you should be safe, but please scan your computer just in case!
