| Name the Harvest Festival of Lore!
That's right - it's your chance to create your own holiday in LORE. the yearly Harvest Festival (which oddly enough coincides with American Thanksgiving....) Create your festival, and the background story behind it. No "Fred's yearly party" unless there's a really really funky reason why a whole continent would be celebrating with Fred. Tie it in with the "harvest festival theme". First Prize: You get your Festival in-game. Your Character will be transformed into a Guest NPC by none other than The Hollow! You'll get a personalized weapon for your character, also created by The Hollow. Second Prize: 50,000 gold on the character of your choice. Third Prize: 25,000 gold on the character of your choice. Rules:
- All Universal Rules apply.
- One line for the name, then describe the background (why the festival came to be) in 100 words or less.
Make sure that it makes sense in relation to LORE.
- Do not use established NPCs in the creation of the Holiday.
Also, be creative! This will be a holiday our NPCs will celebrate. It shouldn't be about them (So no "Artix shot his first Turkeyzard" Day, please.)
- ONE entry per person only.
Please do not post just the word "placeholder" or use large, aggressive fonts, we will check out all the entries. It doesn't matter when you post your entry, as long as it's up before the thread is locked. All such posts will be deleted. This thread is strictly for entry posts, if you really like an entry please PM the author.
THIS INCLUDES: "name" (i'll add more later) type of posts as well. TIME FRAME: This Contest will run until Saturday 10 NOV 2007 at 12noon Server time. For discussion, please use the Discussion thread only - not this thread. Thank you so much for your patience! The winners are: First place: Kosefira "The Return of the Harvest Goddess" Second place: Marrin "The Festival of Earth's Bounty" Third place: Cubal "The Feast of Scindo" Congratulations to the winners! | |
