21 November:
As the anticipation heightens for the new release, watch this space for Gremlins and bugs information.
1) Currently the Police Mecha has a problem: you can buy it, but trying to use it will freeze your game.
This is a known issue and we do not need any more posts on the subject. It will be resolved as soon as possible. Thanks.
21 November Thanksgiving Release:
Oh - there are some things that persist with the game engine, which will be updated in a while:
Loading screens sometimes give you a weird extra frame, maybe a quick image of your enemy before it loads, or a couple of other possible images flashing for a moment. This will get fixed when possible!
There is currently a problem with the mega lupin: he is invisible and when he attacks the game freezes. This has been reported and is being worked on! And should now be fixed!
Backwards enemies with Thanksgiving release?
This seems to be a caching problem. If clearing your cache did not fix the backwards enemies, your ISP may be storing cached images. I've reported this and tried to confirm it, and it just will not happen at all for me. Additionally, a person who reported this bug and then cleared cache had no more problems.
To clear your cache:
Internet Explorer (IE): Tools -> Internet Options -> General -> Click 'Delete Files' under Temporary Internet Files
Firefox: Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Click 'Clear' under Cache
Everyone still experiencing problems with leveling up in the police station (those who have provided technical info) has one thing in common: IE7
If you are using IE7, try using Firefox or a different browser instead, and see whether you can level up. See whether the second boss loads correctly.
Do I know why IE7 would cause a problem? No, I don't.
Do I know how to force IE7 to load this correctly? No, I don't.
Am I guaranteeing that this will fix the problem for everyone? No, I'm not.
NEW: IE and FF store caches in different ways. So if it is not working on IE, using FF will not load that cached version that IE is using. If it is not working on Firefox, then switch over to IE and see if that solves it.
Some may be experiencing the ISP-caching problem. (Read previous posts in this thread.)
