The pernicious little beasties can be hiding anywhere...even in the middle of a battlefield!
Now, this is the first time we'll be combatting these things in a Gamma version, so this reporting form may will be going through changes as we figure out what we need to know in order to track them down.
For now, please give as MUCH information as you possibly can about the issue - remember to read the thread first, and only post if it's a NEW gremlin.
Wading through 15 pages of the same gremlin report is time-consuming, and that's a bad thing!

This is How To Clear Your Cache:

Gremlin (Bug) Report Template A Proper Bug Report -
Who? What? When? Where? Why? How? Keep those in mind.
What should be included in a bug report? More than you think. People aren't mind readers. -
What type of account? (Free Account? Verified Account? Star Captain Account?)
-
What level is the character? M or F? What does the character have equipped?
Which mech (chassis)? Is he/she wearing a uniform? Which one?
-
What: What happened? What's the bug?
Use detail! Did the game kick you out? What was the error message and code?
-
When/Where: Did it happen in town/while exploring? Was is during a quest? In a battle?
-
Why: This is more for the devs, but do you know what might have caused it?
-
How: What did you do to
trigger the bug? "The game hates me." doesn't work. Something leads up to the bug. This is crucial. If a bug can't be duplicated, it might not get fixed.
-
Detail! - Include your
browser and Flash version. To find your browser version, go to 'Help' and 'About'. Use
this to find your Flash version. Example: Firefox v1.5.0.6, Flash 8.0.22.0
-
More detail! -
Screenshots always help. Don't know how to take one? Check
this thread. This is even more important when there's a graphical error (something miscolored, positioned incorrectly, stuck character, etc.).
-
Even more. - Include any extra detail that might help. e.g. If you're lagging, include things like ISP, speed (56K, DSL, cable, etc.), computer memory (RAM), and processor speed (MHz or GHz) are things to consider. Please include graphics display quality setting (in the Game Options menu: Low, Medium, High, or Best).
-
Did you clear your cache before encountering the bug? When was the last time you cleared your cache?
To clear your cache:
Internet Explorer (IE): Tools -> Internet Options -> General -> Click 'Delete Files' under Temporary Internet Files
Firefox: Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Click 'Clear' under Cache
Did the bug keep happening after you cleared your cache? Clearing your cache fixes many bugs! IF you find an ABUSABLE bug - PM it to a Moderator (Maegwyn is Head Mod of MQ Gremlins) or to any AK. They'll make sure that it gets actioned quickly. Just so everyone get it:
quote:
Just a reminder: Please, please include details!
Some examples of what we need to know:
Browser type and version (Firefox? Internet Explorer? Opera?)
Operating System (Windows 98? XP? Vista? Another type?)
Graphics Setting (Low, Medium, High, Best)
This is NOT a bug: Experience needed to level IS 999999999. The current level cap is 15. NOT Bugs:
1) Enemy has negative hitpoints when defeated. Not a bug. This is how the enemies hitpoints are currently displayed.
2) PVP opponent has no cooldown restrictions.
3) The team is in the process of balancing our equipment, so we may see changes to many things as time goes on.
4) The damage icon was changed for a reason: all damage is going to show up as the 'explosive' icon. This is not a Gremlin!
5) When you are defeated when fighting as your character (not in your mech) the dialogue still has the mech info. This may or
may not be changed. Please check to see whether your bug has been reported already! No need to re-report: 1) Odd graphic with ankle skin color
REPORTED:
1) Taking damage when appearing to dodge Twang's attacks
some other stuff that's already been fixed
If you don't see your issue on the Reported list or This Just In , this means that we are still working on its report. It is not being ignored! Duplicates that add no new information will be deleted. If you do not use the template, your post may be deleted.
If you are getting the Error Saving Experience, there is a new thread here if you want to post.
