=AQ= Rules of Doom

1) AQ only in game related discussions.

2) No spamming.

3) No mini-modding.

4) No duplicate thread postings.

5) No server complaints.

6) No asking for Guardianship.

7) No asking for or posting spoilers

No posting in a thread that breaks any rules.

9) No handling account issues.

10) No cheater accusations.

11) No posting about what happened to your post.

12) No using the =AQ= , =AE= , =DF= or =Forum Member= ( personal ) tags.

13) No making post directed a one person.

14) Rules not listed.

15) Staff have final say.

1) AQ only in game related discussions

This means only post topics that invoke a discussion on a topic that is an AQ in game related topic. Topics such as "what is your favorite pet" , "what do you think of the new town" , "this is the latest newsletter" and such are good GGD topics. Topics like "which is better AQ or Maplestory" , "thanks to the staff" , "what is best for my character" or topics along those lines are not allowed in the GGD. Also before posting make sure that you post actually belongs in the GGD forum. For help deciding the following links may help you out. =AQ= Where does my post belong? Look here before posting!! . If after reading that you are still unsure as to where to post please PM an AK or Mod of the GGD to see if it is an appropriate topic for GGD.

1a) This would also include any discussion based off of topics found on the homepage. This would include , but not be limited to , topics such as "The new war is.." , "The next class is.." or "The ... weapon/armor.." and such. These can be considered in game discussion in the sense that they are future things to happen in game or be added to the game at a future date. However what is found on a Staff Character , Test Character or other such avenue can not be discussed as the item(s) may or may not be included into the game. Also items on a staff test character are subject to change without notice, so the test characters are highly unreliable.

2) Spamming

This is defined as but not limited to anything that is off topic and inappropriate to the forum or discussion. This would include the use of excessive smilies , all capitalized letters in title or post , large font size , posting off-topic. This also includes making a post saying "better delete this Wallo is coming" , "uh oh here comes SCAKK" , "I am going to get SCAKK , Wallo" , " Look out for the appearance of Evo." or anything similar.

2a) Flaming is another version of spamming that is not allowed in GGD or anywhere on the forums. Flaming is anything that is deemed hurtful or demeaning to another forum member. This would include but not limited to "you are an idiot" , "you have no idea what you are saying" , "SCAKK is an idiot and should be smacked" , " Wallo is a buffoon " , "Evo is an idiot" or anything similar.


3) Mini-modding

This is defined as but not limited to acting like you are an AK, Mod or Admin of the board or forum. This would include "this is in the wrong place" , "you need to turn off your caps lock button" , "you need to delete this" or anything else similar. Your are not an AK , Mod or Admin of this board or forum so do not act as if you are.


4) Duplicate thread postings

This is defined as making the same thread as one that is already in use. There is no need for two or more threads on the same topic. Search at least three or four pages for previous threads before posting one of your own. Also do not change the wording of your title to make it seem like a new thread topic as a way around the rule.


5) Server complaints

These types of posts do not belong in the GGD or anywhere on the forum and as such will be deleted on sight. As we would like to see everyone play whenever they want the servers can not handle that type of stress and would crash which would not let anyone play. So if you have a server compliant please do not post it in GGD or on the forum as it is not needed.


6) Guardianship begging

This has no place in GGD or on the forum at all. Do not make post or threads asking or begging for someone to upgrade your character. Examples of this would be "make me a guardian" , "someone upgrade me" or something along those lines. All post of this nature will be deleted on sight and the poster will receive a severe warning about the posting of such a topic.


7) Spoiler posting

Do not post spoilers of any kind. This would include but not limited to exact answers , very close hints which leave very little to figure out , or saying you will PM or Email someone the answers. The posting of spoilers of in any fashion is against the rule of this board and on the forum itself. If any spoilers are posted they will be deleted and the member will receive a severe warning.

7a) Asking for spoilers is also not allowed in GGD or on the forum at all. If someone post asking for spoilers their post will be delete and they will receive a warning for asking for the spoiler.

7b) Hints are allowed as long as they do not give exact location , combinations or other information that would be deemed a spoiler. If a hint is to close to a spoiler the post will be deleted and the poster will be sent a warning on the post.


Posting in a thread that breaks a rule.

Do not post in a thread that breaks the rules. If you see a thread that breaks the rules just ignore it. Also if you see a thread that breaks the rules PM an AK , Mod or Admin with a link to the post or thread in question. Do not post in the thread saying your are going to PM someone about it. After you have PMed someone about the thread do not post in the thread saying that you have PMed someone as that would be breaking the rules of the board.


9) Account issues

Do not post in GGD or on the forum itself about any account issue. These type of issue include but are not limited to " I have been hacked " , " lost my password , help " or anything else along those lines. The forum Staff and members will not be able to do anything to your account to help you. If you have an account problem the use the Accounts Help Pages with account issues you may have. If you are having an in game account issue it may be a game bug and those should be posted in Bugs Forum.


10) Cheater accusations

Do not post in GGD or on the forum saying you may have found a cheater. This is against the rules of this board and the forum itself. If anyone makes a cheater accusation post it will be deleted on sight. The correct procedure when finding a cheater is to PM a Mod or Admin with the information as to why you think the person may be a cheater. Here is the Forum Staff List so you will know who the correct person to PM is.


11) Your post

Do not make a post asking what happened to you post as that is spam. If you made a post and you do not see it then there are a few things you need to consider. Did you post in the proper forum , did your post follow the rules of the board in which you posted and was your post complete spam. Also note sometimes if your post belongs in another forum it may get moved to the proper forum so be sure to check you post history to see if you can find your post. If you feel that your post was deleted without reason PM the AK or Mod of the board and ask to why it was deleted. Also if your post was locked and you disagree with the locking of your post PM the AK or Mod that locked your post. If the Ak of the board does give the answer you like then PM the Mod of the board and discuss it with them.


12) Official and Personal Tags

Do not use Official Tags in the title of your post. Non forum staff are not allowed to use them. If you use an official tag in your title the post will be deleted on sight and you will receive a severe warning on the post. Official tags consist of but are not limited to =AQ= , =AE= , =DF= or anything along those lines. Also you are not allowed to use personal tags in the title of your post. A personal tags consist of but are not limited to =Sarah_Renee= , =SCAKK= , =Suikoman444= , =Wallo= , =Evo.= or anything similar. If you use a personal tag in your title the post will be deleted on sight and you will receive a severe warning on the post.


13) Post directed a one person

Do not make post directed at one person. This would consist of but not limited to " hey wallo " , " scakk pm me " , "sarah_renee we need to talk" , "Evo needs to PM me" or anything along those lines. If a post is made like this it will be deleted on sight and the person that posted it will be sent a warning on the post. If you need to talk to a specific person use the PM system , email or an instant messaging service.


14) Rules not covered by list.
There is no way to list every single possible rule that may be needed on a specific board or forum. Just because there is no rule or rules saying you can or can not do something does not give you permission to do something. So with that being said , if an AK , Mod or Admin tells you to stop doing something then it would be advised that you stop immediately. If you fail to stop the action or actions that an AK , Mod or Admin has told you stop then actions can and will be taken. The actions taken for failure to listen will be in the form of a Severe Warning , Temporary Ban or a Permanent Ban.

15) Staff have final say.
Membership of this forum is a privilege, not a right. Membership only guarantees the ability to access them. Trolling, harassment, or any other rule breaking will result in varying degrees of punishment (though some violations result in automatic bans). Staff have the final say in the issue, and disagreeing with them in anything other then a private, respectful manner will be considered not only harassment but trolling. If you have issues with moderation that has occurred the correct actions to take are:

PM them first as an attempt to resolve the issue. If you are unable to resolve the issue with the AK then you may contact Falerin or Scakk , as they are the Head Moderators of GGD. If you are unable to resolve your issue , then you can take it to Beleqwaya ( RP ) , Lady_Tomo ( Bans ) , Pae ( Clans/Clubs ) and Reens ( Head Admin ).

Contact Falerin or Scakk first, as they are the Head Moderators of GGD, when attempting to resolve the issue. If you are unable to resolve your issue , then you can take it to Beleqwaya ( RP ) , Lady_Tomo ( Bans ) , Pae ( Clans/Clubs ) and Reens ( Head Admin ).

Failure to proceed in this manner, such as by posting a public thread indicates you haven't actually followed the rules, and as such your thread may be locked or deleted.
