quote:

15) Post only constructive criticism:
Please be detailed and constructive with your FEEDBACK to a suggestion. Remember, it's not always so easy to step out of your comfort zone and put something forth to be critiqued.

Won't work? Why? Overpowered? Underpowered? Need More detail? Too much detail? Under/over Cost? Too easy? too hard? Too similar to something else?

Who, what, when, where and why.

Likewise, "this idea is stupid! It sucks! Delete it!" will only get you in trouble. If you don't like an idea and don't want to take the time to improve it, don't post there.

The amount of responses and support a thread gets does not reflect how likely it will get in the game, especially if those responses are won at the cost of breaking rules (such as by illegal bumps). In fact, threads which break a lot of rules will probably not be implemented the game even if their ideas are sound.

The kind of responses you should want your thread to get are ones that help increase the quality of your suggestions. The better a suggestion is, the more likely it will be noticed, whereas a flood of responses may detract attention from the suggestion itself.

There's been a widespread epidemic of "I support" posts in this board. This is not acceptable. These posts serve no purpose but to unnecessarily clutter up this board. If you feel inclined to post on someone's suggestion, please ensure your comment adds something constructive to the poster's ideas. If not, please do not post.

Henceforth, I'll be deleting these posts on sight. If I find that you continue to post these "I support" responses, expect to be receiving a warning soon.

Edit: As an added note, considering the sheer volume of these posts, I will not be notifying the poster upon the deletion of these posts. Thanks in advance for your compliance.

Another clarification: As long as your post falls within the rules and adds something relevant and helpful to the content of the suggestion, you can phrase it however you like. We're not putting a restricting any combinations of the words, "great," ,"idea," ,"like," ,"cool," ,"support," ,"awesome," etc. However, if your post consists of nothing more than an arbitrary arrangement of just these words, expect it to be deleted on sight. Just keep in mind that we differentiate useful ideas from the rest based on their content, not by the number of supporters.
